Different Lyrics
I don’t want to hear anymore
Teach me to listen
I don’t want to see anymore
Give me a vision
That You could move this heart to be set apart

I don’t need to recognize the man in the mirror
I don’t want trade Your plan for something familiar
I can’t waste a day
I can’t stay the same

I want to be different
I want to be changed
Until all of me is gone
And all that remains
Is a fire so bright
The whole world can see
That there’s something different
So come and be different
In me

I don’t want to spend my life stuck in a pattern
I don’t want to gain this world but lose what matters
So I’m giving up everything because

I know that I am far from perfect
But through You, the cross still says I’m worth it
So take this beating in my heart
Come and finish what You started
When they see me, let them see You
Because I just want to be different

I just want to be different
So could You be different in me

I moved from Indianapolis to Council Bluffs Iowa~. I am so Blessed that my Lord walked with me every step of this Journey. I have lost many friends & family that don’t understand my Journey, but I have chosen to follow my Faith and I believe that God has placed me here to do a job for him. This. Song says so much about being DIFFERENT & I had to make a choice to be emptied & when I did My house sold & my new chapter began. I have a job , a place of for myself to live, transportation and nourishment. I may not be where others thought I would be for them, but I am where I need to be to be Different!!
This song spoke to me, was my motivation to follow God & not react to this earthly thing….

Kimberly, we’re so glad God is using this song as you’re settling into your new life in C.B. and as you’re desiring to follow Him more closely every day. Blessings as you allow Him to continue to work in you, through you, and for you, friend! 🙂 Jill Tracey, Mornings on KGBI ☼
