Giving

We request information from the user on our giving forms. Here a donor must provide contact information (name and address) and, if applicable, financial information (credit card number, expiration date). This information is used to receipt gifts made to University of Northwestern – St. Paul and Northwestern Media, as well as to send pledge confirmations and other information. If we have questions or concerns regarding a gift, this contact information is used to contact the user.

Log files

On our website, we use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
