Vision Beyond Sight

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

More than 15,000 metro area residents are blind or visually impaired. You can help these neighbors lead more fulfilling lives through enrichment and recreational activities provided by Outlook Nebraska. We invite you to attend our annual Vision Beyond Sight dinner, including our signature Dessert in the Dark, an eye-opening sensory experience. The evening also will feature a nationally known inspirational speaker whose story touches on the challenges of visual impairment. Most importantly, you will meet the Outlook Nebraska associates and others in our community who directly benefit from your attendance and participation in this fundraising event.

8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Join us on November 7th at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, NE for a full-day workshop providing practical training for churches who want to develop and improve upon a safety and security plan. This training will focus on instilling core principles of church safety and security while also providing opportunities to put them into practice through scenario staging and role-playing. Created and led by seasoned experts, the Safe and Secure Church Training is a powerful resource for your entire security team and introduces best practices you can immediately apply to your ministry. At the Safe and Secure Church Training you will… - Discover the philosophical difference between approaching safety and security as a ministry versus creating an armed fortress. - Determine your church’s biggest potential liabilities and risks. - Participate in live scenarios and role-playing exercises. - Learn from an expert instructor and have the chance to ask questions. - Feel equipped to take the next step towards developing or improving on a comprehensive safety and security plan at your church. - This training is great for church leaders and your entire safety and security team. These Simple Truths Tour

7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Ten years ago Sidewalk Prophets released their first album These Simple Truths. The songs from that album (Words I Would Say, You Love Me Anyway) would dramatically impact their ministry and lives. Because of the doors that album the band has been able to travel the world, meet amazing people, and hear powerful stories. Through all of those experiences they've been able to see Christ at work and so many ways. Now, Sidewalk Prophets want to take those miles on the road and the stories they have compiled on the road and share them with you. Hear the stories behind the songs you’ve come to love, PLUS get a preview of the new music to come! Join us for the “These Simple Truths Anniversary Tour”.
