Fairways for Flood Relief is an 18-hole charity golf scramble to benefit our community after the disastrous floods that arrived this spring. All proceeds will benefit the Valley Days Foundation Flood Relief Fund to support flood recovery efforts.

We have been so inspired by the community response to the spring flooding, and we know even more businesses and families in this area want to know what they can do to help. This inspiring, community-based event will showcase the incredible people in western Douglas County as we come together with neighbors near and far to benefit the flood recovery work.

The afternoon will feature Dr. Dan Dana, “The Conflict Doctor,” and his talk “Everyday Peacemaking: Quelling the Conflicts that Disrupt our Lives.” Focused on empowering everyday people to prevent and resolve conflicts at home, at work, in the community, and beyond, this speech was nominated for the Cicero Award as the best speech of 2018. A Midwesterner himself, Dr. Dana has graciously made this presentation available at no cost, and we cannot wait to bring his outstanding material to our group!

What can you do to help? We are looking for golfers, sponsors, and donors to make this event a success! In addition to golfing and sponsoring, businesses or individuals can make donations in the form of pin prizes or silent auction items. All funds raised in the silent auction will go directly to the Valley Days Foundation Flood Relief Fund. Click through the Sponsors slideshow at the bottom of this page for further details on sponsorships and donation options.
